08 / 02 / 2022

The 17th Russian Food Forum for Suppliers for Retail Chains, organised by Imperia Forum and EXPOCENTRE AO, became a key event within the Prodexpo 2022 conference programme.

The speakers at the event are renowned Russian and international retail experts. The Strategic Session on Consumer Preference Map 2022-2025: 10 Factors for Successful Food Sales in Russian and Global Regions was held today.

The heads of such leading research companies and analytical agencies as Romir and INFOLine, marketers, experts in brand management, specialists from the largest retail chains shared the latest analytics, their own successful experience, and important practical recommendations with a large professional audience. They reviewed trends in Russian and foreign food markets, promising export directions for food categories in 2022, changes in the chains' requirements to the type and packaging of goods amid falling incomes of the population and much more.

For those interested in supplying a product under their own brand, the Russian Food Forum on PLB 2022 is held in parallel with the Food Forum for Suppliers for Retail Chains, while for FMCG suppliers collaborating with marketplaces and online shops, PLATFORUM took place the day before.

As part of the Russian Food Forum for Suppliers for Retail Chains, the exhibition features the largest Centre of Retail Chains, where producers and suppliers have the opportunity to hold direct negotiations with representatives of over 110 Russian and international retail chains. Buyers from Russia's leading federal, regional and local chains - Auchan, Azbuka Vkusa, VkusVill, Svetofor, Ozon, Yandex.Lavka, Subway, Komandor and others, as well as companies from the US, China and Europe - negotiate with producers and suppliers to refresh their product range and find new interesting products.

Prodexpo 2022 also features the Purchasing Centre for Marketplaces and the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains: HoReCa. Food suppliers have the unique opportunity to hold 20-30 guaranteed meetings with representatives of retail chains, marketplaces and HoReCa during the few days of the Food Forum. These meetings are usually very effective. They make it possible to present a product, clarify the details of logistics, find out about the competition "on the shelf", receive individual recommendations, and often immediately conclude a contract.
