The 33rd edition of the International Exhibition for Food, Beverages and Food Raw Materials took place on 9–12 February 2026 at Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Prodexpo has been playing a strategic role in the development of the food industry for over three decades. The show is a key platform for manufacturers and suppliers to communicate and network with buyers from federal and regional retail chains, marketplaces, public catering chains, restaurants, and government representatives.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Sergey Katyrin, President at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, Vladimir Kashin, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nikolay Kharitonov, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic, Maxim Protasov, Head at Roskachestvo, Maxim Fateev, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, the representatives of the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, and ambassadors of a number of countries.

The edition of 2026 saw an increase in key indicators:

  • 2,017 companies (+11.4 % compared to 2025) from 37 countries, including:
  • 1,461 Russian companies (+19.3 % compared to 2025)
  • 556 foreign companies (+27.8 % compared to 2025)
  • 48 regions of Russia arranged regional pavilions and group stands (+23 % compared to 2025)
  • 13 national pavilions
  • 90,296 sq. m of floor space (+19 % compared to 2025)
  • 300+ retail chains hold talks about deliveries
  • 66 333 professionals visitors (the exact number will be published at the official website after the event audit)
  • 110,113 visits in total  

International cooperation

This year's partner country was Saudi Arabia. The stand of the National Center for Palms and Dates of Saudi Arabia (NCPD) hosted a ceremony of awarding the partner country certificate of Prodexpo 2026.

Mazzen J Alquraish, Head of Exporters Enabling and Empowering Department at NCPD, said that participation in Prodexpo is a good opportunity to establish a direct dialogue with Russian partners and present the potential of Saudi Arabia's date industry.

Prodexpo 2026 hosted talks of Maxim Fateev, Director General of EXPOCENTRE, with a delegation from the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), headed by its President Baatarjav Lkhagvajav.

Prodexpo 2026 hosted the 15th International Halal Congress. The event was organised by the International Center for Standardization and Certification "Halal" under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation. The congress was attended by Russian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Roman Nekrasov, representatives of the diplomatic corps of Arab Muslim countries from Bahrain, Indonesia, Iran, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and the heads of the largest Russian exporting companies in the halal industry.

Prodexpo 2026 was attended by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Trade Advisers as part of the embassy delegations of Argentina, Bangladesh, Belarus, Brazil, Ethiopia, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Serbia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkiye, the UAE, Uruguay, and Uzbekistan.

Show highlights

Russian manufacturers from almost all regions of the country offered a variety of products: 1,461 companies àrom the largest agricultural holdings to family enterprises from Primorye and the Far East to Kaliningrad, from the northern regions to the south of Russia.

Russian regional pavilions, organised this year by 48 regions of the country, attracted a particular interest. Their main aim is to promote the regions' brand and support small and medium-sized businesses. For the first time, pavilion was presented by the Trans-Baikal Krai. Watch the special report.

As for foreign participation, the leaders were China (141 companies), Belarus (84 companies), Turkiye (69 companies), Kazakhstan (27 companies), South Korea (25 companies), and Saudi Arabia (16 companies).

Overall, the geographical reach of Prodexpo 2026 was impressive: Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.

The show presented a wide range of products from basic food and beverages to fine foods, halal, organic, sports, functional, baby food, healthy lifestyle, exotic products, as well as alcoholic beverages, equipment, packaging and packaging solutions, glass containers, and ingredients.

Prodexpo PACK&TECHNOLOGY offered packaging solutions for the food industry, as well as packaging for gifts, Christmas/New Year celebrations, and glass containers. In total, there were about 100 manufacturers from 9 countries. 

Conference programme

This year, the conference programme focused on the adaptation of the food market to economic realities and consumer trends.

The plenary session was devoted to omnichannel retail, regulatory changes, new consumer trends, challenges and solutions in 2026.

Special sessions are devoted to organic products and development of regional brands.

The Special Session on Bringing Goods to the Shelf. How to Simplify the Way to Retail Chains in 2026? was devoted to labeling.

There were regular Prodforums: Supplier to Retail Chains, Private Label Brand, Ecosystem of a Food Brand, Retail Matrix, and Entering Retail Chains.

AlcoCongress 2026 was dedicated to the market of the future: strategies and promising directions in the context of global changes, both geopolitical and consumer. The Master Classes on Wine from Russia were of constant interest. The show hosted negotiations between alcohol producers and distributors with retail chain purchasers.

Trends, best practices, strategies and tools were studied at the CATMANPRO Open Club, a space for professional communication, growth and development of retailers.

The 15th International Halal Congress brought together experts and practitioners in the field of halal certification and standardization, halal production technology, export of halal products abroad, and working on new foreign markets.

For two days, the Center of Retail Chains™ helped manufacturers negotiate with representatives of more than 300 Russian federal and regional retail chains and conclude contracts for the supply of products.

The Employment Centre was open on all days of the show, where both exhibitors and visitors could post job offers, review applicants' CVs, and get advice from a career development specialist.

Prodexpo 2026 has once again confirmed its effectiveness and importance for the development of the food market and ensuring the country's food security.

The participants recognised the need for broad international cooperation at the business level, despite global difficulties in the political sphere.

Prodexpo 2027 will take place on 1–4 March 2027 at Crocus Expo, Moscow, Russia.
